Hurry not.
“My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.” Psalms 62:5 (KJV)
Learning to wait patiently on God prepares us adequately to receive from Him. There are many levels of growth and maturity in Christ Jesus. The moment we receive Christ Jesus as LORD and personal Savior, we become born again and a babe in Him (1 Corinthians 3:1–4). As a babe in Christ, God gives us all the needed attention and provides everything we ask for because we are tender and He wants us to be happy and grow to maturity. There comes a time when God expects us to grow from being a babe into adult in spirit and at this level, He will introduce new things to us.
And some of the things that await us in adulthood are hardship, disappointments, challenges, etc.; during these challenging times, the best thing to do is to wait on God and be expectant. During waiting, we continue to pray, increase the number of times we fast, pray and meditate on the Word of God, fellowship with the Holy Spirit and with other believers. (Isaiah 40:31). All these spiritual activities will prepare us to grow from being a babe to the next level in Christ. After reaching the next level or stage, He gives us what we need, and our waiting is fulfilled. Praise God, we are Overcomers.
Prayer : Beloved Father in heaven, thank You for counseling us to wait on You. Yes, being in a hurry without Your consent is unproductive. Please lead us to wait on You in prayer, meditating on Your Word, and fellowshipping with Your Spirit and with one another in unity of purpose so that You will bring our expectations be ours in the name of Jesus Christ Amen. Thank you so much Father for always being there for us.

Amen
