God’s Promises.

“For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.” Acts 2:39 (KJV)

God is so good that any time He promises a person or a people, He is not just looking at just the present but the future as well. His promises to us include the generations that will come after us. Therefore, as a Christian, when you receive the promise of the Holy Spirit, prepare your children and children’s children to also receive the Holy Spirit and all the promises of God. Prepare them by praying and teachings of the Word of God (Acts 6:4).

The Holy Spirit has come to stay with us and to teach us the ways of God, comfort, and train us to live the God-life on earth (John 16:12-15). If you are born again, you have the Holy Spirit in you. Therefore, ask Him to anoint you with the power to do His work. Wait patiently on Him, and He will anoint you. We are here to work with Him so don’t sit on your gifts; exercise them to bless the lives of others. 

Pray thus: My Father God, thank You for giving the gift of the Holy Spirit to me.. Holy Spirit anoint me daily with thy power so I can impact my children and my generation in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.
