God Hates Sin.

 God Hates Sin.

“And it came to pass through the lightness of her whoredom, that she defiled the land, and committed adultery with stones and with stocks. And yet for all this her treacherous sister Judah hath not turned unto me with her whole heart, but feignedly, saith the Lord.” Jeremiah 3:9-10 (KJV)

Having a good relationship with the LORD begins with knowing Who God is. He is a holy God Who wants His worshippers to worship Him in spirit and in truth (John 4:24). Due to His nature of holiness, He hates sin and will never take sin for granted at any point in time. No wonder He is also the Judge of mankind. He first judged sin in the Garden of Eden when Adam and Eve refused to take the blame for the sin they had committed (Genesis 3:10-19).

Whatever sin you find yourself committing frequently, be sure God will judge and punish for it. Therefore, go before Him and confess to Him and ask for the grace to desist from going back to that sin (1 John 1:9). Take holiness seriously and enhance your relationship with God so that you can have a continual flow of blessings from Him. HALLELUYA.

Prayer:  My holy and righteous Father, thank You for enlightening me about Your nature. Indeed, You are holy; therefore, You hate sin and will judge sin. I eschew all manner of sin, and I purpose in my heart to live a holy life for You. Please forgive my many sins  and empower me not to repeat sinfulness in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.
