"The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever. Isaiah 40:8"

 In his walk with the Lord, the prophet Isaiah received divine knowledge and wisdom. He became aware of two things: that there are things that are temporary and things that are permanent in life. The grass and flowers are temporary; they spring up one moment and fade away in another. The only thing that lives and stands forever is the Word of God. Jesus Christ said that man shall not live by bread alone but by the Word of God that proceeds from the mouth of God (Matthew 4:4). To enjoy life worth living, , then feed on the Word of God as you do to physical food. Let the Word of God be your mindset; let it fill your spirit, soul, and body by meditation and confession, and you will excel in life through living. Praise the Lord.
