We see the centurion's faith was unwavering. Ge knew that the authority and words of Jesus would heal  his servant and they did as he believed. Expectant faith and humility draws us close to the Lord Jesus . We should therefore approach Jesus with trust and confident expectation to receive from Him In Deuteronomy 34  Joshua son of Nun was filled with the spirit of wisdom because Moses laid his hands on him. Here we see the power of impartation. (34:9). Moses successfully passed the mantle  of leadership to Joshua. God did not overlook Moses disobedience of striking the rock instead of speaking to the rock( SIN HAS CONSEQUENCES).     (Numbers  20:12) because of his temper and God told Moses that he will not lead the children of Isreal into the promise land. Moses died, he saw the land but did not enter therein. God's refusal to allow Moses to enter the promised land demonstrates conclusively that sin has consequences. Sin attracts God's wrath. Just as God led the children of Isreal on their journey so also God is with us to lead the way.All that God asks is that we trust Him and follow Him in faithful obedience.
