True Mother and Brethren.

“And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!” Matthew 12:49 (KJV)

Knowing your true relatives enhances your assignment on earth. The kingdom of heaven is directly opposite of the kingdom of the world. From the world’s point of view, a relative is a person connected with another by blood or affinity. However, the kingdom of God views relatives as those who submit to the will of God and support the work of God (Matthew 12:50). Thus, Jesus referred to those who were doing His will as mothers and brethren.

 Your true family or relatives are those who have submitted to the Lordship of Jesus Christ and are doing His will; in heaven, those are the people you will see (John 8:31–32). Those who are related to you by blood will not go to heaven if they reject Jesus Christ. Don’t neglect those who are related to you by blood; teach them the gospel too, but let your focus be on your true family in the kingdom of God. Hallelujah! You are An Overcomer.

Prayer : My LORD and Savior Jesus Christ, thank You for showing me my true family & relatives. Yes, my true family & relatives are those who are doing Your will. Please lead me to preach the gospel to my biological family so that they too will be saved, and let me be in the company of my true family in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.
