You are His Commissioner.

 You are His Commissioner.

Among others, after His resurrection, there are three major phases of work Jesus Christ the Lord commissioned His disciples to do while waiting for His coming!

1. Preaching the GOSPEL OF CHRIST, for SALVATION and REPENTANCE - Mark 16:15-16; Romans 1:14-17; Luke 24:44-48.

2. Becoming HIS WITNESSES everywhere they go! That is, representing Him, being like Him, in word and conduct, behaviour, character, etc. - Acts 1:6-9; cp. Luke 24:44-48.

3. Being and making DISCIPLES OF ALL NATIONS! - Matthew 28:18-20; cp. 11:25-30.

If the GOSPEL OF SALVATION is preached and people are saved, but are not made disciples, through which their lives and their lifestyles are changed, transformed and conformed to be like that of Christ Jesus, the Son of God, the WORK IS NOT COMPLETE, IT'S NOT PROPERLY DONE! - Matthew 11:25-30; Romans 8:1-39, to quote but a few. 

Therefore, both those who did the WORK AND THEIR WORKS WILL BE REJECTED BY THE LORD HIMSELF! - Matthew 7:15-27; Luke 6:20-49; Phillipians 3:1-21.
