HOLD ON TO GOD. “The Lord upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down. The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season.” Psalm 145:14-15 (KJV)
HOLD ON TO GOD.
“The Lord upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down. The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season.” Psalm 145:14-15 (KJV)
Knowing that falling is not the end of life provides hope for a lifting up. The Word of God is clear that a child of God can fall in temptations, tests, and trials. A child of God can also fall or fail in other aspects of life such as business, education, marriage, politics, etc. (Proverbs 24:16). When you fall or fail, don’t remain down; find out the cause of your fall or failure and desist from repeating the mistakes that led to your downfall.
Beloved, look up to God and wait on Him for a lifting up because He is the lifter of our heads (Psalm 3:3). The sure way to avoid falling is to walk in the ways of God; if you always look to the Word of God for direction, flourishing will be certain. Never trust in your own ways no matter how good they seem. Make a habit of waiting on the Lord to assist you in your choices, and your life will keep moving forward and upward. HALLELUYAH.
My gracious Father, thank You for giving me hope from Your Word. Indeed, You are present to hold me up when I fall. Please help me to never repeat the mistake that led to my fall but to keep walking in Your ways, and I will be able to encourage those who fall to trust in You for a lifting up in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.
