THE REMNANTS: “Except the Lord of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah.” Isaiah 1:9 (KJV)
THE REMNANTS:
“Except the Lord of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah.” Isaiah 1:9 (KJV)
God always leaves a remnant in every circumstance for His name’s sake. In the days of Noah, when evil was the order of the day, God destroyed the world but kept a remnant for Himself – Noah and his household, birds, and animals – to replenish the earth (Genesis 6:8–12). And God preserved Lot and his household when Sodom and Gomorrah were engulfed with the sin of homosexuality.
Beloved, always endeavor to be part of the remnant, the sanctified saints who are prepared to live for the Lord irrespective of the circumstances they found themselves. We are living in a perverse world where a lot of people are compromising their integrity, but you can be like Daniel and distinguish yourself for Christ (Daniel 1:8).
Prayer,: Father in the nameofJesusChrist, thank You for always keeping a remnant in every generation for Your name’s sake. In perverse generation, I want to be part of the remnant who will live a sanctified life for You. Please help me with Grace to choose wisely and resist the plessure of sin so I be part of the remnant for good in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.
Amen
