Evil becomes predominant on earth because the devil and his demons are on earth. He was an archangel of God responsible for leading worship in heaven. The devil became familiar with God and rebelled against Him; God cast him down to the earth with all who supported his rebellion. Since that time, he has been perpetuating evil on earth. God, being so good, sent Jesus Christ to pay for the sin which satan had led mankind to commit. Jesus also defeated the devil and took away the keys of death and hell from him (Revelation 1:18).

Dearly beloved, Jesus Christ is now our refuge against the devil and his evil deeds. Therefore, if you don’t want any evil or harm to befall you, make Jesus Christ your hiding place. In Jesus there is peace and protection; His name has also been highly exalted, and you can use it to make things happen in your favor (Philippians 2:9-11). Live in His name by making Him your Lord and personal savior and be devoted to Him, and you will be free from evil and harm. Halleluyah! You are Blessed.

My Lord Jesus Christ, thank You for teaching me how to be free from evil. You are my hiding place from evil. You are my refuge and I will serve you forever. Thanks so much for giving me power to reign over the devil and his demons.
