Kindness. The merciful man doeth good to his own soul: but he that is cruel troubleth his own flesh. Proverbs 11:17 (KJV)

 Kindness.

The merciful man doeth good to his own soul: but he that is cruel troubleth his own flesh. Proverbs 11:17 (KJV)

Kindness is a good seed that you will reap one day regardless of how other people may handle it. And if you choose to be cruel, it is also a seed that will one day come back to you. Kindness and cruelty are both internal. More than whatever is shown through your outward appearance, God will always look at the heart (1 Samuel 16:7). As a child of God, your being kind is not an obligation. You are kind because that is who you truly are in Christ Jesus.

Beloved, if you are facing challenges, difficult situations and people, know that being kind is a better seed than being cruel. Choose to speak life rather than insults. Choose to pray for your enemies rather than cursing them. Choose to shine the light of Christ rather than allow darkness to overcome you. You are more than a conqueror through Christ Who loves you (Romans 8:37)!

Lord, help me to be kind in cruel situations and with unkind people. Holy Spirit, manifest fruits in my life. Help me live victoriously in Christ Jesus. I have chosen to overcome evil with good, just as You have overcome this world. Thank You for setting the example for me to follow in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.
